Working the Image: TEPC November 2020

By | November 16, 2020

I took this shot very quickly, but because I didn’t have much experience at the time… I fumbled it. There was no chance to get a second shot as the subjects were moving too fast. So editing was the only hope to make something of it.

Cropping with constraints meant a weird image, so I was left with a little triangle of blank goodness on the top right. I finally cloned, stamped, bodged, and liquified it out of existence. Can you tell? Finally, I added a little vignetting around the main participants including the brighter area top right. I hope it’s not too obvious. In small images, it’s accentuated… but regular size, it seems okay.

Most of the editing was handled in LR, except the patching (PS).
